It is important to note that the fees associated with Livescan fingerprinting in California vary based on the agency and the type of background check being conducted. The fee for Livescan fingerprinting may be paid by the applicant or by their prospective employer.

The system is mostly automated, it is usually very fast. If the results are to be sent to the requesting organization electronically (online), the results are usually 24-72 hours. If the results are to be sent to the requesting organization by mail, then add the mailing time. Having said that some Livescan results take longer. Once we, the Livescan providers submit your fingerprints to the government, it’s up to the government to process the information and provide the requesting organization with the results of the background check, we have no control over the time that takes for the results.

You need a valid state or federally issued form of identification so we can prove your identity. A valid drivers license or passport is acceptable.
